The Democratic Party of Moldova (PDM) deputy, Vladimir Andronachi, left the PDM parliamentary faction on August 14. An informed source confirmed NM’s information. As Andronachi himself noted later in a press release, he is not going to leave the Democratic Party and will not join another faction. “I am not a defector or a traitor. I am not leaving the Democratic Party because this is my home and my family. I have faith with Democratic Party, but not with Pavel Filip at the head, ”Andronachi said, noting that he considers the values promoted by the PDM to be the most suitable for Moldova’s development. According to Andronachi, the minority in the PDM headed by the party chairman Pavel Filip makes all decisions and acts only in their own interests. At the same time, Andronachi assured that he was ready to return to the faction, "as soon as Philip and his micro-team leave the party or leave the leadership." Andronachi also said that he would continue to support the government of Ion Chicu and the parliamentary majority.
