The leader of the Pro Moldova Party, Andrian Candu, believes that the International Monetary Fund (IMF) has refused to include the Republic of Moldova on the agenda. The MP said this on the air of the Punctul pe Azi program on the TVR Moldova channel, tv8.md reports. “Some say that the International Monetary Fund stopped including the issue of the Republic of Moldova on the agenda, taking into account the situation in the banking sector and the attacks on the National Bank. This caused the IMF’s outrage. It is not still confirmed but within the political class and among specialists rumor has it that the IMF in a way gave up on the Republic of Moldova this year in relation to this government,” the MP said. Andrian Candu believes that everything that is currently happening with the banking system, and "with these attacks of justice or the prosecutor's office," it is unacceptable. “Investors may leave, and this will have a double negative effect on the Republic of Moldova’s economy,” he said.
