On October 30, Ukraine updated the list of countries with an increased level of coronavirus infection. Moldova is not on the list this time. This means that upon arrival in Ukraine, Moldovan citizens do not need to self-isolate or do a coronavirus test. However, at the border, citizens still have to present an insurance policy that can cover the cost of treatment in case of COVID infection. Together with Moldova, the Ukrainian list of green zone countries includes 144 states, including Belarus, Lithuania, Germany, Sweden, Russia, Albania, Turkey, Greece and Canada. There are 50 countries on the “red zone” list. Among them: Romania, France, Poland, Spain, Great Britain, and Italy. Note, Romania also excluded Moldova from the list of countries with a high risk of infection with COVID-19. Citizens who come from the republic do not need to observe the 14-day quarantine. However, the country still has a ban on the entry of foreigners. Except for the next of kin of Romanian citizens and family members of citizens of other EU member states, the European Economic Area or Switzerland who have a residence permit in Romania. The ban also does not apply to diplomats, employees of international organizations, foreign students and athletes participating in competitions in Romania, those who come on a business trip, and transit passengers.
