PAS and DPM MPs Noted “Undisguised Rapprochement” between Dodon and Sor: No More Talks about Bank Theft

DPM deputy Monica Babuc and PAS deputy Sergiu Litvinenco claim that the PSRM and the Sor party have recently been on the track of rapprochement. According to politicians, this could mean a coalition between the two parties. The statements were made on Monday evening, November 9, by the two parliamentarians on the air of a program on Pro TV, zdg.md reports. “It is difficult to keep in head all the statements made by our politicians, especially since there is an election campaign now. At one meeting, President Dodon seems to have mentioned something about the possibility of talks with the Sor faction, with the deputies who left the Pro Moldova group and created the Pentru Moldova group. As for Pentru Moldova, they have joined the Sor faction, and I suppose that this is one of the three options voiced by the President,” DPM deputy Monica Babuc said. PAS deputy Sergiu Litvinenco believes that the four ministers nominated by the Democratic Party to the Chicu government were recalled on current president Igor Dodon’s instructions. He also noted there has been rapprochement between Igor Dodon and Ilan Sor as of late. “This is not Mr. Chicu’s decision. It is clear that this decision was made by Igor Dodon, and it is directly associated with the electoral context. To a large extent, we are witnessing this rapprochement between Igor Dodon and Shor’s party, as well as those who switched to other formations. This can be seen not only from what happened today, but also from the statements. You see that no one is talking about the airport, or theft of a billion, and proceedings are postponed. All this allow us to conclude the gradual formalization of the majority between Igor Dodon and Ilan Sor,” Sergiu Litvinenco said. Earlier, President Igor Dodon said that he rules out the alliance with the Pro Moldova or Pentru Moldova deputies.
