The Ministry of Foreign Affairs is helping the Ministry of Health to establish contacts with representatives of the vaccine manufacturer. Ukraine is negotiating the purchase of a Chinese vaccine against coronavirus, Foreign Minister Dmytro Kuleba said in an interview with Ukraine 24 TV channel. "They are ready to supply it," the minister said. According to him, the Ministry of Health possesses specific information. Now the Ministry of Foreign Affairs is helping this department to establish contacts with representatives of the manufacturer. According to Kuleba, Ukraine has three options for obtaining a vaccine against coronavirus. The first option is the COVAX program. "We can use political instruments to increase the number of vaccines that will be given to us through the COVAX program," Kuleba said. The second option is to ask countries that have purchased significantly more vaccines than they need to sell or transfer the surplus. The third way is negotiations with the manufacturing company and the government of the country where it is located. "There is political influence, that is, you come to the vaccine manufacturer, they say" we are ready, but we need the position of the government of the country where our business is located, "and then you go to the government to negotiate," Kuleba said. Earlier, President Volodymyr Zelenskyy told who they are negotiating on the vaccine with. Negotiations are underway on vaccines with India, Britain, France and other countries.
