PSRM chairman Igor Dodon said that there are no reasons to dissolve the parliament. “I hope that the Constitutional Court will not change its position. The parliamentary majority is the will of the people. There will be no early elections in May, June, July. The country is in crisis, amid the pandemic. We have enough leverage to prevent this,” Igor Dodon said, zdg.md reports. Note that President Maia Sandu will hold consultations with parliamentary factions on Friday, March 26. According to the head of state, the discussions will be held within the framework of Art. 85 paragraph (1) of the Constitution, which provides for the dissolution of Parliament. The consultations will take place in the context of the failed attempt to appoint the Grosu government. When the parliamentary session started, the PSRM and Shor factions left the session hall. Since there was no quorum, the prime minister candidate did not even present his program.
