The Action and Solidarity Party did not invite a single representative of the DA Platform to negotiate a possible participation in the act of governing.
Former vice-chairman of the party, Igor Munteanu, is skeptical that the PAS will put forward such proposals, both to his party and other political actors,
ipn.md reports.
Earlier, several agricultural producers in the country sent a letter to President Maia Sand asking to consider the candidacy of Alexandru Slusari for the post of Minister of Agriculture. However, PAS did not invite anyone from the formation, the DA Platform representatives say.
"Neither my colleagues nor me received any signs, we were not invited to discuss such topics, and I suspect that there is no point in this.
So much power invested in one party gives the feeling that it can cope alone, unilaterally, avoiding situations in which it has to negotiate with other politicians, especially since these actors remained behind the demarcation line," Igor Munteanu said during the program Punctul pe Azi on TVR Moldova.
According to Igor Munteanu, the staff shortage will be a problem for the new government, given the statements of the PAS vice-chairmen about imminent huge purges of the system.
"Any party taken separately does not have a sufficient number of cadres or experienced persons who can fill the institutional vacuum existing in the Republic of Moldova. We also heard the PAS leaders calling the diaspora to return home.
Few will come because wages are unattractive and there is political instability. For this reason, the PAS will have to rely, in particular, on those who are inside the country," Igor Munteanu said.
In the early parliamentary elections on July 11, the Dignity and Truth Platform won 1.45% of the votes. Following the elections, the party's chairman and vice-chairmen resigned, and the new leadership is to be elected on September 5 at the party's convention.
