Then the parliament will have to give the new cabinet a vote of confidence. “Today, President Maia Sandu nominated me for the post of Prime Minister. This is a great honor for me and I am determined to meet the expectations of citizens. At the beginning of next week I will present the list of ministers, and I hope that there will be a meeting on this issue in parliament next week,” Natalia Gavrilita wrote. Recall, today, July 30, the head of the PAS faction in parliament, Mihai Popshoi, during a consultation with the President Maia Sandu proposed the candidacy of PAS deputy Natalia Gavrilita for the post of Prime Minister. After consultations with the PAS and Shore factions, Sandu signed a decree nominating Gavrilita for the post of Prime Minister. Members of the Communists and Socialists Bloc did not come for consultation. “Ms. Gavrilita has a week at her disposal to form a team and a government program and present them in parliament,” Sandu said. The President expressed confidence that Gavrilita will come to parliament with a professional and incorruptible team, and that Moldova will have a new government within two weeks at the most.
