Gazprom expects to start gas deliveries from October, and both legs of the gas pipeline may start working within two months.
Russian Gazprom plans to begin gas supplies via the Nord Stream-2 pipeline from October 1, Bloomberg reported on Wednesday, September 8.
According to the newspaper, in two months both legs can start working.
At the same time, it is noted that the timing of actual flows from the NS-2 to the Europe's gas grid will further depend on the decision by the German regulator.
As a reminder, it was reported two days ago that the last pipe of the Nord Stream-2 had been welded in the Baltic Sea. The pipe will now be laid on the seabed.
Gazprom CEO Alexei Miller announced the gas pipeline construction will soon be completed.
