The Ministry of Health of the Republic of Moldova is in talks with the Russian Federation on the purchase of the Russian vaccine Sputnik V.
Health Minister Ala Nemerenco said this, stressing that the authorities are trying to provide citizens with access to all types of vaccines, realitatea.md reports.
“I inform you that the Ministry of Health is currently negotiating and discussing the purchase of Sputnik V. It is very important for us that the category of the population that chooses a particular vaccine has access to the desired serum and can ensure its protection against COVID-19. The political aspect is of no interest for us as doctors. We hope to sign this contract. We will provide all the details later,” said Minister of Health Ala Nemerenco.
