Hans Martin Sieg became an adviser on strategic planning and EU affairs in the mission of high-ranking advisers of Moldovan President Maia Sandu.
He will advise the Head of State on strategic coordination and priority reforms implementation, in particular, on good governance-related policies and commitments within the Association Agreement with the European Union, and will also contribute to establishing international partnership. Sieg will provide consultations on European affairs and relations with the EU and its member states, agora.md reports.
It is noted that Sieg has already taken up his tasks in the presidential administration.
Previously, Hans Martin Sieg held senior positions and supervised groups in development projects and think tanks, and was also a consultant to the Governments of Germany, Switzerland and the Republic of Moldova. Hans Martin has served in organizations such as GIZ, UNDP, OSCE. His last position was Director of the Konrad Adenauer Foundation representative office in Romania and the Republic of Moldova. Sieg holds doctorates in political science and history.
