Despite the fact that the regime of Vladimir Plahotniuc broke down three years ago, some of its practices remain.
This was stated by Vlad Batrincea, vice-speaker and an MP from the Bloc of Communists and Socialists, a-tv.md reports.
“It was three years ago, in these days, that a historic session of Parliament was held, during which a declaration was adopted on the seizure of Moldova’s state, condemning the interference of politics in independent institutions, the subordination of justice, political control of state institutions, it was an important event, some progress was made, I am sorry that some practices still exist today. We call on the entire political class, however much they want to control state institutions, but we have to do everything we can to make those institutions independent. We remember those days and draw conclusions so that such events never happen again,” said Vlad Batrincea.
