The Socialist Party held another protest in front of Parliament on Thursday against “social injustice and unbearable living conditions”. Several dozen people with flags of Moldova and PSRM took part in the action. They held posters “PAS equals poverty”, “Down with liars, down with Sandu, down with prices!”, “Stop the price hikes, down with the Sandu regime!”, “Crazy times!”. Speakers at the rally demanded the resignation of the government, “an immediate end to the anti-people policies aimed at destroying the social system, education, health and agriculture”, infotag.md reported. Alexandr Nesterovschi, a member of parliament from the BoCS, called for the overthrow of the PAS government before winter, because many citizens will not survive it under the current rulers. “We are expecting high prices for gas, electricity and heating. The task of the Party of Socialists is to help our citizens and make sure that PAS is no longer in power,” he said. According to his faction colleague Adela Raileanu, “PAS is the most incompetent government in modern Moldovan history”. “A year ago, the ruling party promised everyone good times, and citizens believed it. However, a year later people realized how wrong they were,” she said. Point
