Vlah: The Ruling Party Has Appropriated the European Village Program

Irina Vlah, Mayor of Gagauzia, criticizes the ruling party for appropriating for the state mechanisms for the infrastructure development in the regions and rural areas. The Mayor stated this on air of the First in Moldova TV channel, reports gagauzinfo.md. In particular, Irina Vlah says that the PAS party has “appropriated” the European Village Program, and is trying to score political points. “The ruling party has appropriated the European Village Program and presents it as its own achievement and not as a result of the government’s work with external partners,” Irina Vlah stated. The head of Gagauzia believes that “when the institution of power is associated with a party, it is not a state approach”.
