Sor Party deputies Regina Apostolova and Petru Jardan will again go to Moscow to “discuss special gas prices for the Orhei district, as well as the opening of the Russian market for Moldovan fruits and vegetables”. This was reported on social media by the party leader Ilan Shor, who is hiding from Moldovan justice in Israel, infotag.md reports. He published a letter he received from the chairman of the Committee on Foreign Affairs of the Russian State Duma, Leonid Slutsky. Apostolova, Jardan and PCRM deputy Constantin Staris met with him in Moscow last week. “As promised, Russian deputy Leonid Slutsky gave course to our request and sent me a letter with a proposal to discuss again the possibility of providing a special gas price for the Orhei district, as well as opening the market for Moldovan fruits and vegetables,” Sor reported. A few days before the meeting with Moldovan MPs, Slutsky, who is chairman of the Liberal Democratic Party, said that Transdniestria is Russian territory and the region should be helped more. Earlier, Sor wrote that he was “willing to crawl all the way to Moscow to get a better gas price for Moldova.” People on social media commented that he should rather fly to Chisinau by plane to stand trial.
