The Foreign Ministry of Kazakhstan said that representatives of Moldova and Ukraine will not come to the summit of the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS), scheduled in Astana on October 14. This was reported by a Kazakh Foreign Ministry spokesperson, Aibek Smadiyarov.
“The summit will not be attended by a representative from Ukraine which has suspended its participation in CIS events in recent years. Also, the head of Moldova Maia Sandu will not be able to participate because of her busy schedule,” he said.
