Speaker Igor Grosu will attend the second parliamentary summit of the International Crimean Platform. The meeting will be held in Prague on 24 October. The summit was organised by Ukraine and the Czech Republic.
As reported in the press service of the parliament, the Speaker will deliver a speech and take part in discussions on the margins of the plenary session and two thematic panels. Grosu will also meet with his colleagues from other countries.
On the sidelines of the event, the speaker will sign a memorandum of understanding between the parliaments of Moldova and Ukraine, together with the chairman of the Verkhovna Rada, Ruslan Stefanchuk.
More than 50 chairmen and vice-chairmen of parliaments from different countries, as well as chairmen and vice-chairmen of parliamentary assemblies of international institutions will take part in the summit of the International Crimean Platform. A joint statement is to be adopted as a follow-up to the meeting.
