Ceban: Information on Energocom Gas Price Is Confidential

The board chairman of Moldovagaz JSC, Vadim Ceban, said that the price at which natural gas is purchased from Energocom JSC is confidential, while from Gazprom it will slightly exceed 830 dollars in November. “In November 2023, the purchase price of natural gas supplied by PJSC Gazprom to Moldova, taking into account the calorific value, will be $830.42 per thousand cubic meters. In October, the same figure was $795.87 per thousand cubic meters,” Vadim Ceban said in his Telegram channel. According to his message, the entire volume of gas from PJSC Gazprom will be sent for the needs of Tiraspoltransgaz. As Ceban pointed out, according to the preliminary forecasts of Moldovagaz JSC, in the first quarter of 2024, the price of natural gas from PJSC Gazprom will be $510 per thousand cubic meters. “Information on the price of natural gas purchased from Energocom JSC is confidential, according to the sales contract signed in August 2022,” the head of Moldovagaz stressed. He added that average annual price of natural gas included in the current tariff is 750 dollars per 1,000 cubic meters.
