The Chair of the Ukrainian Verkhovna Rada, Ruslan Stefanchuk, will address the Moldovan parliament today. He is visiting Chisinau for the first time as speaker of the Ukrainian legislature.
The visit will last two days from 30 November to 1 December. After the speech, a meeting with the speaker of the Moldovan Parliament, Igor Grosu, is scheduled. A press briefing shall follow the meeting.
Recently, the two parliaments signed a memorandum of understanding. The document envisages the intensification of relations and the consolidation of efforts of the two countries’ legislative institutions on the path towards European integration.
