Four defendants in the terrorist attack at the Crocus City Hall in Krasnogorsk near Moscow were sent under arrest until 22 May. Such a decision was taken by the Basmanny court of Moscow. All of them fully admitted guilt. The court hearings were held in closed format.
The suspects were formally charged under the article on the terrorist attack before the hearing. According to the current legislation, the maximum penalty for this offence is life imprisonment.
The FSB announced the detention of four suspects in the terrorist attack on the morning of 23 March. They are 32-year-old Dalerdzhon Barotovich Mirzoyev, 30-year-old Saidakrami Murodali Rachabalizoda, 25-year-old Shamsidin Fariduni and 19-year-old Mukhammadsobir Zokirchonovich Faizov.
Sources close to law enforcers published evidence of torture of the detainees.
