Residents of Comrat Presented Spinu with a Flag and a Collection of Laws of ATU Gagauzia

Moldovan Minister of Infrastructure and Regional Development Andrei Spinu arrived in the capital of the Gagauz autonomy, where local residents organized a “cordial welcome” for him. Dozens of people trying to question one of the leaders of the ruling PAS party surrounded the GRT building where Spinu was due to take part in the TV programme, gagauzinfo.md reports. People held placards with slogans: “We demand to approve the bashkan as a member of the government”, “We demand to return the powers”, “We demand to respect the law of ATU Gagauzia”, “Down with Sandu, PAS, Recean”. In addition, citizens brought brochures with the Law on the special legal status of ATU Gagauzia.
