Moldova did not confirm the information spread by some monitoring Telegram channels about Russian missiles flying across the country’s territory. This was reported by the Moldovan Border Police. The agency stated that it had not recorded the presence of Russian missiles in Moldovan airspace. “All airspace surveillance and monitoring systems have not detected any unauthorized intrusion, which is also confirmed by the Ukrainian authorities,” the agency said in a statement. The police added that patrols at the Ocnita, Otaci, Cosauti and Soroco checkpoints reported hearing at least three explosions in Ukraine. According to the agency, the Ukrainian side confirmed that three missile launches took place near the town of Novodnestrovsk, which is located near the border with Moldova. Information spread during the massive Russian shelling that two or three Russian missiles may have crossed the Moldovan state border. As is known, on the evening of 28 March, Russian troops launched attack UAVs on the territory of Ukraine in several directions at once. At about 4 a.m., it became known that the Russians had launched cruise missiles. The air alert continued throughout the night. According to Ukrenergo, the Russian invaders hit energy facilities. Air defenses on the night of 29 March destroyed 84 air targets out of 99 that Russia used to attack Ukraine.
