Parliament Speaker Igor Grosu said that “PAS did not, does not and will not have television or radio stations.” According to Grosu, when a politician buys a media outlet, he jeopardizes both the institution and his team. The speaker also commented on the information that appeared in Telegram channels about the purchase of Jurnal TV channel by Minister Andrei Spinu. “I want to tell the viewers that you will hear such fakes more than once, and the logic is simple: Jurnal TV is in the first place in terms of audience, and someone is very concerned about this situation. Therefore, hereafter, activity will be carried out, including discrediting Jurnal. Putting a political stamp on the media is the best solution to discredit. Therefore, do not read fakes. Jurnalul is not sold and will not be sold”, said Vitalie Calugareanu, the host of the programme on this TV station. “PAS did not, does not and will not have television and radio. Politicians should do politics, journalists should do journalism, business should do business. And if at some point you want to change something – don’t mix them, that’s my advice to everyone. When politicians try to get television, radio, they can only compromise both the team and the institution,” Igor Grosu said.
