During the press statements, Tarlev emphasized that the current situation in Moldova is serious and that he feels the need to be more actively involved in solving citizens’ daily problems. “Today, after hundreds of meetings and discussions with the people of the country, I feel responsible and obliged to take up the challenge and fight injustice,” Tarlev emphasized, adding that he will run as an independent candidate. Tarlev said that his decision was influenced by numerous discussions with citizens, which convinced him of the need to take a more active part in the political life of the country, in order to achieve positive changes and improve the living conditions of Moldovans.
