Access to Chisinau Airport to Be Restricted for Another 30 Days

The restricted access to the capital’s airport has been extended until 28 August. Thus, only passengers with tickets and travel documents, personnel and aircraft crews will be able to enter the airport. In conditions when in summer the flight schedule is very busy and passenger traffic is increased, travelers are advised to be responsible and arrive at least three hours before the scheduled departure in order to complete the necessary formalities for the trip and avoid flight delays, tv8.md reports. Airport officials thank travelers for their understanding, noting that safety is an absolute priority. From 1 May 2024, access to the terminal is allowed only to passengers with a ticket in hand, which must be presented to authorized personnel at the entrance.
