Moldovan presidential candidate Alexandr Stoianoglo has expressed irritation over the rhetoric of the Russian Foreign Ministry, calling it inappropriate.
He stressed that the Russian agency should refrain from regular assessments of the situation in Moldova and focus on diplomatic relations.
“I don’t understand this kind of statements, I condemn them. There can be some kind of consultations, but it is just wrong to assess the activity of the Moldovan leadership every week. And this rhetoric irritates me,” Stoianoglo said in an interview with the RTVI TV channel.
The politician also spoke in favor of the withdrawal of Russian Federation troops from Moldova’s territory.
Stoianoglo recalled Istanbul agreements that provide for this process.
