Stoianoglo: Ministers Should Engage in Their Duties, not in Election Campaigning

The presidential candidate claims that administrative resources were used in the election campaign. “The use of administrative resources by the current government during the elections has already been identified. We talked about it with all observers and representatives of foreign embassies, with whom we held meetings. But we have not seen any tangible reaction yet. The authorities were actively using all the tools available to them, and almost the entire government, including ministers, participated in the election campaign. It is unacceptable, as ministers should engage in their duties, not supporting some candidate. This whole situation is the responsibility of the Central Election Commission, but the CEC, being a politicized structure, is unlikely to react objectively,” Stoianoglo stressed.
