The Greek Foreign Ministry recalled its Ambassador Andreas Fryganas from Moscow, a ministerial source told RIA Novosti on Friday. According to the agency interlocutor, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Greece Nikos Kotzias personally took this decision. The source said that in the coming days Fryganas will return to Athens, another ambassador will be sent to Moscow, but it is not known yet when this will happen. The Greek diplomatic source also confirmed the information about the recalling of the ambassador. The Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs has not made a comment yet. The ambassador’s recall occurs during the crisis in the diplomatic relations between the two countries after the mutual expulsion of Greek and Russian diplomats. Source: RIA Novosti
