According to the website of the Transnistrian leader, on December 3, at the Government of the Russian Federation there was a meeting of the President of the unrecognized republic Vadim Krasnoselsky with the Deputy Prime Minister of the Russian Federation, the special representative of the Russian President for trade and economic relations with the Republic of Moldova Dmitry Kozak. Earlier, Kozak and Krasnoselsky had already met in Moscow in September. The press service of Krasnoselsky reports that the interlocutors discussed “the region-wide situation, the dynamics of the negotiation process, as well as the current areas of Russian-Transdnistrian cooperation”. “Particular attention was paid to the support of peacekeeping operations on the banks of the Dniester, which for over 26 years has been a reliable guarantee of peace and stability in the entire region”, the website of the unrecognized republic reported. It was separately noted that “Russian aid for the extra payment to the Transnistrian pensioners’ pension money will come to the republic in the very near future”. It is indicated that Krasnoselsky and Kozak discussed the promotion of Transnistrian exports to Russia and Russian humanitarian projects in the unrecognized republic.
