Kyiv and Chisinau will Strengthen Border Cooperation

Special attention Poroshenko and Philip paid to issues of strengthening security in the region and cooperation of Ukraine and Moldova. President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko had a telephone call with Prime Minister of Moldova Pavel Filip. The parties noted the high level of partnership between Ukraine and Moldova, official website of the Ukrainian President reports. According to the report, the parties discussed the topical issues of the bilateral agenda. In particular, they touched upon the issue of strengthening cooperation in the border area and expanding common border and customs control at certain border crossing points on the Ukrainian-Moldovan state border. Particular attention was paid to strengthening security in the region and cooperation between Ukraine and Moldova in the framework of international organizations.
