Poroshenko said he would order the Border Guard Service not to let Russian observers in Ukraine to monitor Ukrainian presidential elections. The Border Guard Service of Ukraine will have a command not to let Russian observers to the elections in Ukraine, said the President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko on the ICTV channel on Monday, February, 4. According to the head of state, this is the plan to physically prevent Russians from arriving in Ukraine as observers from international organizations. “As President of Ukraine, as supreme commander-in-chief, I’ll order the State Border Service of Ukraine not to let Russian observers in. And I guarantee you and the Ukrainian people that the order of the commander-in-chief will be executed”, said Poroshenko. Earlier Russia stated that it had received an invitation from the OSCE to send its observers to the election of the President of Ukraine. In turn, Ukraine sent a notification to the OSCE that it would not register official observers from the Russian Federation. Source: News.bigmir.net
