Serbia continues to be under pressure because of the country’s unwillingness to join the anti-Russian sanctions, Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister of Serbia Ivica Dacic said. He noted that Serbia’s plans to become part of the European Union will not hamper development of relations with Russia. “Serbia will not impose any restrictive measures on Russia despite pressure exerted on Serbia. Serbia is trying to become a member of the European Union, but this does not mean that it should forget about traditional relations with friends such as Russia”, Dacic said. In addition, he said that the agreement on the establishment of a free trade zone between the EAEU and Serbia will be signed this autumn and the construction of the Serbian branch of the TurkStream is planned to be completed in 2020. Speaking about NATO and Kosovo, the diplomat pointed out that if Vladimir Putin was the President of Russia in 1999, no one would have dared to bomb Yugoslavia. Izvestia
