Jagland did not clarify who is according him is legitimate government in Moldova, but made it clear that the decision of the Constitutional Court is not all right. “The recent decisions of the Constitutional court are difficult to understand, it seems that in the light of the Constitution and international law they are arbitrary”, the CE Secretary General wrote. He also said that “in case of uncertainty a good objective advice is always needed”. Also he said that in his capacity of Secretary General he requested an urgent opinion of the Venice Commission on the latest decisions, including on the conditions of dissolution of the Moldovan Parliament.
