Zelensky Promised to Knockout the Old Power System in Ukraine

The President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky declared that the “Servant of the People” party will manage to establish new system of the power in the country and to knockout the old one. He said this at Congress of political movement in Kyiv. He stressed that the “Servant of the People” is not a brand, but the worldview of politicians of the new wave, which came to “not to restart the old, but to install a new system”. Zelensky noted that his team began to do this on April 21, after the victory in the presidential runoff vote. We have only taken the first small step. This is only the first round. The system is still in the knockdown, we offer a knockout. We will do it together, Zelensky said. He also expressed confidence that parliamentary immunity will be abolished in the renewed Verkhovna Rada. There was also presented a list of candidates and approved the program of the party at the Congress. Elections for the Verkhovna Rada were to be held in October.
