The Russian Federation will urgently issue 500 additional permits for the Moldovan goods transportation to Russia through Ukraine. This is an emergency measure to unblock the situation that has developed among our exporters in recent days, to hold negotiations at the level of relevant ministries in order to ensure uninterrupted supplies of the Moldovan goods to Russia before the end of this year. The corresponding agreement was reached during telephone talks between President Igor Dodon and the Deputy Prime Minister of the Russian Federation, special representative of the President of Russia on the development of trade and economic relations with the Republic of Moldova Dmitry Kozak, aif.md reports. On his social media page, the head of state noted that this was an emergency measure, which was necessary in order to unblock the emergency situation with Moldovan exporters in recent days. Dodon emphasized that it was urgent to hold negotiations at the level of relevant ministries in order to ensure solid supply of Moldovan goods to Russia before the end of this year. I express my deep gratitude to the Russian partners for the assistance. Let me remind that the export resumption of the Moldovan goods through Ukraine to Russia and removal of import duties by Moscow on five types of our products became possible thanks to the personal agreement of the Presidents of Russia and Moldova in 2018. At the same time, I look forward to more active involvement of the relevant Ministry of the Republic of Moldova in resolving such problems. Assistance to Moldovan producers is a common task for the entire leadership of the country,” he said. Point
