The French Minister of Economy and Finances Bruno Le Maire stated that seeks for a possibility to escape the USA sanctions keeping meanwhile the economic relations with Russia. Informed TASS on Tuesday, January 7. “We’d like to restart our economic exchange with Moscow observing the international law but not being constrained by extraterritorial financial sanctions which are the main obstacle to the economic relations development with Russia”, - Le Maire stated. Besides that, the Minister promised to find the needed solution in the “financial area” which would not only allow the restart relations with Russia but also to escape sanctions consequences. The USA Senate Committee on Foreign Relations approved the DASKA (Defending American Security from Kremlin Aggression Act of 2019) draft on December,19 with additional sanctions against Russia. The USA Congress published country’s defense budget for the 2020 year which includes sanctions against the gas streams “Northern Stream -2” and “Turkish Stream”. The aim of limitations is the European Energetic Security Protection. De document is to be signed by Donald Trump.  The Russian MFA stated all while that measures are aimed at gaining unilateral advantages by the United States to the detriment of European interests in the gas sector.
