The possibility to supplying gas to Ukraine through the Trans-Anatolian gas pipeline (TANAP) was discussed during the meeting of the presidents of Ukraine and Turkey - Volodymyr Zelensky and Recep Tayyip Erdogan. "We discussed the possibility to deliver Caspian gas through the TANAP gas pipeline to corresponding interconnectors to Ukraine," Zelensky said. He noted that Kiev considers this route as an alternative to the existing ones. The presidents also agreed to intensify negotiations on free trade zone creation. According to Zelensky, the set goal was to achieve a $ 10 billion turnover between countries compared to the current 4 billion one. "We agreed to push our representatives, who are working on the text of a free trade agreement. The delegations of the intergovernmental commission on trade and economic cooperation will also receive a corresponding signal," Zelensky said. In addition, Ukraine and Turkey agreed on military assistance and An-178 supplies.
