The Verkhovna Rada deputy from the presidential party “Servant of the People”, Alexander Dubinski said to the 112 TV channel that industry is dying in Ukraine. According to the parliamentarian, industrial production in the country has been falling for the first time since 2015. Dubinski called for the creation of the Ministry of Industry and the restoration of the industry, as well as job creation and promotion of Ukrainian goods, RIA Novosti writes. At the same time, Dubinsky noted that instead, the Ukrainian authorities are changing ministers in the government. The deputy also added that he does not understand how come that in the country, which used to be the largest industrial republic of the Soviet Union there is no Ministry of Industry. In turn, the country's Minister of Economy Tymofiy Mylovanov believes that the main factors causing the fall of almost all types of industry are the systemic lack of demand for products and the hryvnia’s strengthening negative impact on the Ukrainian producers’ competitiveness. On February 4, the Verkhovna Rada deputy Vadim Rabinovich said that the current government is to blame for the country's debt growth. According to the deputy, Ukraine needs another government that has people’s confidence and is able to negotiate with country’s foreign creditors.
