Andrian Candu, leader of the Pro-Moldova group, claims that any party that succeeds in reaching the organizational level should participate in the elections. However, he considers it premature to talk about participating in the presidential election.
The ex-democrat said this on air of the Punctul pe Azi (Today’s Point) program on TVR Moldova,
agora.md reports.
When asked whether the future party will nominate its candidate for the presidential election in 2020, Candu said that although it is premature to answer this question, he believes that: “Any party that manages to reach the organizational level should nominate a candidate for those or other elections. Electoral battles make the party better. "
Candu also noted that the political group he leads is working on legal aspects to create a party.
“We have not yet been able to work out all legal materials and all the processes that require registration of a political movement. I took the first steps to reserve the name. We are at the beginning of our road,” Candu said, noting that the group has not borne any expenses yet, since it has no teams in the territory and they have not yet found an office.
Recall that six deputies of the Democratic Party left the political formation and the parliamentary faction of the Democrats. These are Andrian Candu, Sergiu Sîrbu, Vladimir Cebotar, Eleanor Graur, Corneliu Padnevici and Grigore Repesciuc.
