The population is increasingly trying to comply with quarantine rules. Prime Minister Ion Chicu announced thanking citizens for their understanding. “It is much easier for the Ministry of Internal Affairs employees, for the army and other institutions because they are more aware of the danger. We got a more intense and organized participation of all central and local authorities. If we continue to support discipline the same manner we’ll be able at some point to reverse this very alarming dynamics of coronavirus cases in Moldova, ” Ion Chicu said, noi.md reported. The Prime Minister recalled that in the next nine days all state employees will be on so-called vacation, in connection with which he recommends that they stay at home and avoid gathering in groups of more than three people. “We have nine days off. We provided them not for walking, not for communication, not for gathering in groups. Moreover, groups of more than three people are prohibited. Police will sanction populations that violate this rule. I urge citizens to recognize imminent danger. I ask you to strictly and clearly abide by the rules,” Chicu said. Currently, 199 cases of coronavirus infection have been confirmed in the Republic of Moldova.
