The next priority after combating the pandemic should be given to urgent identification of sources for citizens and entrepreneurs of the Republic of Moldova to survive, Alexandru Slusari, the DA Platform vice chairman, wrote on his Facebook page. According to the DA Platform, one of the emergency measures that the state should propose in the coming days and apply next month, is a complete budget review. Alexandru Slusari notes that it is necessary to abandon several capital investments, first of all, investments in the sphere of central public administration, where the money allocated for strictly necessary things (salaries and pensions) should remain. In addition, an immediate appeal for financial support to external partners and an increase in the volume of loans from commercial banks for the Ministry of Finance are required, ipn.md reports. Resources are also needed to partially finance the technical unemployment and to stop small businessmen activities due to the markets closure. The list of proposals also contains a deferred payment period for social and medical contributions, as well as VAT for HoReCa enterprises, trade in non-food products and related industries, light industry, activities of free economic zones, agriculture, tourism, aviation, etc., for at least 6 months. Alexandru Slusari continues the urgent measures list by a moratorium on state inspections until the end of the year; annulment of penalties for utilities for at least 3 months with state lending to providers of relevant services and negotiations between the government and the NBM with commercial banks on re-appropriation of loans for economic agents and the population for at least 6 months.
