The Democratic Party rejected the offer of the leader of the Action and Solidarity Party (PAS) Maia Sandu to meet to discuss a Russian loan. According to the democrats, this discussion is impossible, because the party’s deputies are participating in the meetings of parliamentary commissions this morning at 8:00, 8:30 and 9:00, deschide.md reports. "The PDM faction is ready to transparently listen to all available arguments at a parliamentary meeting. We remind you that the Democratic Party has repeatedly mentioned that it is open for discussions with all political parties," the political formation said on a Facebook page. Last night, the PAS Chairman Maia Sandu said she was ready to meet with MPs from PDM to analyze some provisions of the loan agreement with the Russian Federation. Recall that the Cabinet of Ministers approved the draft ratification of the agreement between the governments of Moldova and Russia on providing a financial loan on April 21. According to the authorities, it does not provide any commission for non-payment of funds from this loan, or a commission for loan disbursement, but provides for the possibility of repayment at any suitable time, if such an opportunity appears ahead of schedule.
