Slusari: If Nastase Becomes Prime Minister the DA Platform Will Have a Presidential Candidate

The scenario, according to which Andrei Nastase will become prime minister and Maya Sandu a presidential candidate has its right to life. This stated the DA platform vice chairman, Alexander Slusari, unimedia.info reported Slusari also emphasized that such an events development does not exclude that DA platform will have its own candidate in the presidential election. “Theoretically, if Andrei Nastase is supported as prime minister and I believe such chances do exist, then he will probably not be a DA platform candidate for president. If Andrei Nastase becomes Prime Minister it is obvious that he will be busy with the situation in the country and will not run. But this does not mean DA platform will not have its candidate,” Slusari said. Note that earlier it was announced that Andrei Nastase is a candidate for the DA platform in the presidential election planned for this fall.
