Nastase Claims the New Cabinet Members List Is Now Ready

DA platform leader Andrei Nastase said there is a list of names of potential ministers in the new government. Moreover, there are several candidates for certain positions in the government, such as the Prime Minister, agora.md reports. “The DA platform currently has at least three candidates for the post of prime minister. It is important now to create a project in the interests of the country. If we take responsibility for this government, believe me the best people from our platform and colleagues from other parties will be there,” Nastase said. However, the politician refused to name the candidates for a possible new government. According to Nastase, specific names can be mentioned only if at least 51 deputies support the resignation and appointment of a new cabinet. “When we are sure that we have this number of 51 who want to vote for Magnitsky’s law, deoffshorization, decriminalization, then we will know that there is a majority that can overthrow this government, as well as a majority that can vote for the new government,” the politician noted. Recall that in mid-May, members of the DA platform announced that they were ready to take responsibility for the government and nominate a prime minister who could form a new cabinet. Moreover, party representatives announced that they had already finalized the draft vote of no confidence, but had not made a final decision to register it in parliament.
