Hogan: Moldova's Request for Plahotniuc's Extradition Considered by US Authorities

A pandemic worldwide has affected activities of authorities in all countries, but, as I understand it, the consideration of the request for extradition has already begun," the US representative in the Republic of Moldova said. The ambassador claims that the most important thing in this case for the Moldovan authorities is to submit all the documents that they have, and which, in their opinion, indicate Plahotniuc’s involvement in crimes against the country. In mid-June, the Attorney General's Office announced that it had sent a request to the United States to extradite Vlad Plahotniuc.
