PAS leader Maia Sandu claims that if she wins the elections on November 1, in the first year of her tenure as president of the Republic of Moldova, early parliamentary elections will be held. This was stated by Maia Sandu on Thursday, July 30, on the Puterea a patra show on N4channel, zdg.md reports. Maia Sandu claims that the current parliament was elected as a result of incorrect elections and that she will find legal ways to dissolve the legislature. “Of course, early elections will be organized, but I will do everything within the law. We understand that for early elections there must be the consent of some political forces in parliament. The majority of the deputies must admit that this Parliament was elected as a result of rigged elections agreed with Plahotniuc. We will definitely find legal ways to dissolve parliament,” Maia Sandu said. To make this possible, the PAS leader said she would hold discussions with all political forces in the current parliament, with the exception of MP Ilan Sor. “I will not talk to Sor. Otherwise, discussions will be conducted with all political forces to find a good solution for the country. The country cannot remain hostage to the compromised parliament for several more years. We have serious problems. This government does nothing for the people. I can say with confidence that early parliamentary elections will take place in the first year of the new president’s term in office,” Maia Sandu said. Earlier, PAS representatives announced the party’s leader, Maia Sandu, as their candidate for the November presidential elections.
