Several Moldovan politicians met with former PDM leader Vladimir Plahotniuc in Istanbul, Turkey, where the ex-democrat is right now, according to authorities. This was stated by JurnalTV journalists on the air of the Secretele Puterii program, which also reported that Plahotniuc stayed in one of the most luxurious hotels in Turkey, zdg.md writes. “From September 10 to 28, Vladimir Plahotniuc stayed at one of the most luxurious hotels in Turkey - Titanic Mardan Palace. During this period, according to sources from JurnalTV, Plahotniuc met with Vladimir Andronachi, Andrian Candu, Vladimir Cebotari and Vlad Filat.” Cebotari and Filat said they hadn’t met with Plahotniuc in Turkey. Also, a passport screen was shown on the air of the program which Plahotniuc was traveling with. Recall, on September 29, the Turkish authorities notified the General Prosecutor’s Office of Moldova about Vladimir Plahotniuc’s presence on the territory of their country. Yesterday the Ministry of Internal Affairs announced that they have long had information about Plahotniuc’s whereabouts.
