The Prosecutor General’s Office Has Requested Plahotniuc’s Extradition from Cyprus and Saudi Arabia

About 65 domestic companies have ceased their activities. The information was sent to the Government. The prosecutor’s office is taking measures to bring to justice all those involved. Besides Turkey, the department sent a request to extradite Plahotniuc from Cyprus and Saudi Arabia. We have already received an answer that Plahotniuc did not cross the territory of Saudi Arabia,” the Prosecutor General said, tv8.md reports. Stoianoglo noted that Moldova has not yet received a response from the Turkish authorities regarding the request on the ex-democrat’s extradition. Recall, Vladimir Plahotniuc was put on the wanted list, he was charged under three articles in Moldova: creation and management of a criminal organization, fraud and grand money laundering.
