Home / News / Appeals Chamber Rejected Igor Dodon's Complaints About Presidential Election Fraud
Claims that the President and Prime Minister of Romania, as well as the head of the Christian Democratic Union of Germany interfered in the election campaign in favor of one of the competitors, were recognized as unfounded. A similar verdict was passed on Dodon's petition to consider cases of organized voters’ transportation to polling stations opened abroad,  publika.md reported. In addition, Dodon complained about members of electoral bureaus’ inaction, who failed to ensure an effective citizens’ flow during the voting process. The Riscani District Court rejected this complaint because it was not filed on election day, as required by law. This decision was not challenged before the Appeals Chamber. The president's press service could not be reached for comment. Carmena Sterpu did not answer calls. It is not known whether the decision of the Appeals Chamber will be challenged.
