The head of the EU Delegation to Moldova Peter Michalko considers it alarming that the people involved in the theft of a billion are participating in the formation of the government. Miсhalko said this on February 17 in an interview with
cotidianul.md, speaking about the situational regime in parliament recently announced by the Party of Socialists.
“It is worrying when people involved in bank theft are involved in negotiations or in government formation,” Miсhalko said.
The head of the EU said Moldova needs a full-fledged government and a credible parliament.
“I see that all politicians are in favor of holding early elections. So that deserving support can support a full-fledged government that will push the program and the necessary changes. (…) Moldova needs a full government and a credible parliament. And we prefer reliable partners,” Miсhalko said.
He also named the dubious laws that the PSRM and Shor party deputies approved in mid-December last year, believing that they threw the country back. In particular, according to Miсhalko, this also applies to the obligations undertaken by Moldova to the main parts.
Recall, on February 11, PSRM MP Corneliu Furculita read out a statement on establishing a parliament majority to approve the candidacy of Mariana Durlesteanu for the post of prime minister. The coalition will include: deputies from the PSRM, from the Shor party, the Pentru Moldova group, independent deputy Alexandru Oleinic, Eugen Nichiforciuc, Vladimir Andronache. There are 54 deputies in total.
